The wonderful Ayyoub Bouaddi
17 years old and (too much) talent. After lighting up Losc’s majestic victory over Real Madrid, the young midfielder was once again resplendent with the French team. in the Champions LeagueThis time against another of Europe’s “greats”, Juventus Turin. The Lille man did (almost) everything well, with a high level of technical accuracy (87% of successful passes). The precocious Dogues player isn’t afraid to rush into space when he needs to, doesn’t stammer when under pressure, and doesn’t hesitate to make quick decisions. The Jonathan David-Edon Zhegrova duo did a lot of damage
The Nordic club’s winning tandem for several months now. In top form once again Tuesday eveningthe sensational Edon Zhegrova made the Old Lady’s defence suffer, providing the decisive pass with a luminous opening on the counter-attack for his Canadian striker, who then went on to score the winner. the Turin goalkeeper with his right foot (27′).. FLOPS
Dogues’ difficult return from the break
After the break, Lille spent a quarter of an hour in hell as they were suffocated by the Old Lady and cornered at the back. The result? Benjamin André cracked under Piedmontese pressure, conceding a penalty which was immediately converted by Dusan Vlahovic (60′). The Nordic outfit will need to put this behind them in their next matches, and attack the second half with aggression and determination.
Juve’s fruitless possession
80% possession. That’s the stat posted by Juve’s Thiago Motta in the first 20 minutes of the match. This extremely high level of possession made a comeback at the start of the second half, but was often a symptom and an admission of impotence in this match, in the face of Lille’s solid, compact defense.
