The French tennis player will play his first final in Paris in front of his home crowd. The match will be broadcast free-to-air on French television.

It’s the sporting event of the day. The Frenchman Ugo Humbert takes part in the final of the Rolex Paris Masters tournament, which takes place at Bercy this Sunday, November 3, 2024, taking on Alexander Zverev.

The day before, the French player qualified against Russia’s Karen Khachanov with a score of 6/7 6/4 6/3, while his opponent for the day, Germany’s Alexander Zverev, defeated Holger Rune 6/3 7/6.

Ugo Humbert will be playing in his first Masters 1000 final of his career in front of an enthusiastic crowd, who will be giving him their unwavering support, as they have since the start of the tournament. Should he win, he would become the fourth Frenchman to win the Paris tournament, following in the footsteps of Guy Forget (1991), Sébastien Grosjean (2001) and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga (2008).

Ugo Humbert and Alexander Zverev have already met twice, with one victory each. The two men met a year ago on the same Bercy court, and it was the German player who won the match in three sets in the second round.
This Sunday, the Frenchman will be out for revenge against the world number 3. He’s delighted to be able to experience this moment in front of his home crowd. “First Masters 1000 final, I’m so happy it’s happening here”.he told France Télévisions after his victory over Karen Khachanov.

This summit match can be followed on Eurosport, which broadcast the entire tournament, but also free-to-air on France 3 from 3 p.m. and on the France.tv platform. France Télévisions commentators, including journalist Inès Lagdiri-Nastasi, will be on air from 2.45pm.

This will be the last match in the tournament’s history to be played at the Palais Omnisport de Paris-Bercy. Next year, the Paris Masters 1000, which has been held here since 1986, will move to the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine).
