Two men, aged 31 and 22, accused of assaulting and kidnapping a father in June, have been arrested in Lormont, near Bordeaux.

Five months after the events, the alleged culprits are finally behind bars. This Wednesday, RAID interventionan elite unit of the French national police force, led to the arrest of two men accused of assaulting, kidnapping and holding a father for several hours in Lormont (Gironde), according to information from Sud Ouest confirmed by Le Figaro.
The events date back to June. The 42-year-old man was attacked in the parking lot of his home, in Lormontand received several blows to the skull with a hammer. He was then tied up and taken by car to the commune of Tresses, while other people went to his home, where his wife and their young child were staying, in order to rob it.
A pistol and narcotics seized
The father’s assailants then asked their victim to undress, left him by the side of the road and set fire to his car. The national police investigation led to the arrest on Wednesday of two brothers, aged 22 and 31. They were taken into custody, and a pistol and narcotics were seized from their home.
