The South African opener left USAP for Racing 92 in the summer of 2023. He will remain with Perpignan until 2027.
Perpignan rugby club announced on Thursday the return next season of South African opener Tristan Tedder, who left Catalonia to join Racing 92 in the 2023 off-season. The player has signed a two-season contract that runs until 2027. He will be returning to a club where he had already played between 2021 and 2023, totalling 46 matches and over 300 points. He is USAP’s first official recruit for next season. After nine rounds, the club is ninth in the Top 14 standings (4 wins, 5 losses).
A key figure for Racing 92 last season (28 matches, 5 tries), 28-year-old Tristan Tedder has yet to play a single Top 14 match for the club, having injured his shoulder in a warm-up match. His contract with Les Franciliens expires at the end of the season.
