The young woman, who was transferred to hospital after the incident, was handed over to her family, according to the Iranian authorities.
The Iranian judiciary said on Tuesday, November 19, that it had taken no legal action against a student arrested in Tehran after stripping in public in early November.
“Since she was transferred to hospital and found to be ill, she was handed over to her family, who are currently caring for her, and no legal proceedings have been initiated against her,” said judiciary spokesman Asghar Jahangir.
