Rachida Dati launches photography bicentenary celebrations

WE WERE THERE – The French Minister of Culture opened Paris Photo week with a gala evening at the Fondation Cartier-Bresson.

The crème de la crème of the photography world gathered Monday evening in the salons XIXe at the Westin Paris Vendôme, for the Foundation’s gala evening Henri Cartier-Bressonevent to launch Paris Photography Week (vernissage of Paris Photo Wednesday November 5). From Marin Karmitza collector honoured at Beaubourg, to Quentin Bajac, director of the Jeu de Paume. From Michel-Edouard Leclerc, who devoted the first major “Cartier-Bresson” exhibition in Brittany to the Hélène & Edouard Leclerc collection in Landerneau, to Fiammetta Horvat, the photographer’s daughter. Frank Horvat who died in 2020. From the duo of Paris PhotoFlorence Bourgeois and Anna Planas, to the director of Rencontres d’ArlesFrom Christoph Wiesner, Pascal Beausse, head of photo collections at the CNAP (Centre national des Arts Plastiques), to blondish Miranda Salt, the most peppy of Parisian gallery owners, who welcomes her peer Baudouin Lebon to 21 rue du Château d’Eau… Everything…
