Four burned bodies were discovered by emergency services inside the vehicle, which caught fire after colliding with a plane tree before 5 a.m. in Gaillac (Tarn), and a fifth victim, ejected from the car, was found nearby.
The Albi public prosecutor’s office told AFP that an investigation had been opened to determine the identities of the five deceased. “It’s too early to have the precise circumstances of the accident, but a priori, we’re looking at a single vehicle involved.”we added.
