After tough negotiations, Lufthansa and Rome have overcome their differences on the final price for the sale of ITA Airways to the German airline giant and have reached an agreement on the terms of their marriage, the Italian Ministry of the Economy announced on Monday evening.

Agreements on remedies to be sent to Brussels to guarantee competition “have been sent to the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition”.he added.
