For the comic billionaire’s new album, the watch designed by Raymond Weil also graces the hero’s wrist.
With a W as a common initial, Raymond Weil and Largo Winch were bound to meet in the end. All the more so since Philippe Francq, the illustrator of the billionaire vigilante’s adventures, is an avid watchmaking enthusiast. In The Night Frontierhe slipped an Octa Lune by F.P. Journe onto the wrist of this character from Jean Van Hamme’s novels.
Designing a chronograph was certainly not for him. A dream come true thanks to Elie Bernheim, CEO of the independent, family-owned Raymond Weil watchmaking company. This artistic and horological complicity gave birth to the Millesime Largo Winch chronograph, with its 39.5 mm stainless steel case. Equipped with the Tri-Compax RW5030 automatic movement, this watch, limited to just 300 pieces, features three sub-counters as green as dollars on its dial.
The back, of course, features the silhouette of the intrepid billionaire hero, his new fetish chrono on his wrist.
