LIVE – Rolex Paris Masters: Humbert sets the record straight

France’s first Masters 1000 semi-finalist since 2019, Ugo Humbert takes on Russia’s Karen Khachanov in the furnace of Bercy.

His stroke of luck came to fruition. With a super straightforward forehand, the Tricolore outwits the Russian to pull level at 3-3.

A stroke of luck for Humbert, as his return ball takes a false bounce in the Russian’s court and hits the frame of his racket.

Not in the mood, too tense, Ugo Humbert doesn’t let up and makes one unforced error after another into the net. He loses his set.

Khachanov’s pain keeps him in the game (2-2)

Two break points to spare, that’s what the Russian had to do before winning his second game. Humbert strikes hard and takes the game to his feet, holding on by a whisker.

Zverev has qualified for the final

Alexander Zverev made it through to the final of the Rolex Paris Masters, defeating Denmark’s Holger Rune in two sets (6-3, 7-6). The world number 3 will face the winner of tomorrow’s match.

With his success, Zverev will be back in second place in the ATP rankings on Monday.
