Stuart Hogg pleads guilty at his ex-wife harassment hearing

The former captain of the Thistle XV appeared in court in Selkirk, Scotland, on Monday to answer charges of domestic harassment.

Accused of harassing his ex-wife, Stuart Hogg pleaded guilty at a hearing held this Monday in Selkirk (Scotland), according to Sky TV. The Montpellier full-back allegedly used several phone apps to track his wife and sent over 200 text messages to his ex-wife within hours of the end of his marriage.

Arrested last September before trialHogg often threatened his former girlfriend with insults, particularly after drunken outings with her friends. The former Scotland full-back and captain was released on bail last September, and is currently injured for five weeks with his new club Montpellier, having fractured his right hand in the match against La Rochelle (16-0 win on October 26).
