By beating the Nazionale, Les Bleus finish in first place, thus avoiding Germany, Portugal and Spain.
Didier Deschamps’ men’s next opponents could be the Netherlands (Group 3), Croatia or Scotland (Group 1), Denmark or Serbia (Group 4), depending on the results of the final matchday. The quarter-finals of the competition will take place on March 20 and 23. Les Bleus come out on top, and will host the return leg at the Stade de France on the 23rd.
