The launch of Drouot.immo

Drouot, international specialist in public sales of works of art since 1852, and based on the model of drouot.comdrouot.com, which offers interactive sales of moveable goods, is extending its expertise to real estate.

Maëlys de Lummen: “For the record, Drouot.com today represents over 800 online auction houses (more than 9000 sales per year and 3 million auction items). Based on this successful model, the Drouot group decided to launch Drouot.immoan interactive platform dedicated to real estate auctions.”

To mark the launch, Drouot.immo has set up a partnership with Espaces Atypiques, a network of real estate agencies (85 agencies in France) specializing in atypical properties, which will offer a select choice of its character properties (around a hundred by 2025). “This first collaboration reinforces Drouot.immo’s ambition to become a key player in the high-end real estate market in France. Other real estate professionals may join us in the future.”

Maëlys de Lummen: “Drouot.immo is much more than a platform: it’s a reliable tool, capable of adapting to the demands of the market. Within a secure framework, this alternative sales method enables agencies to auction a property to obtain the best price.”

“Buyers benefit from the agency’s support. They can of course visit the property before deciding whether or not to buy. There is a registration on the platform with a financing file. On the day and at the time specified, the private individual can bid online for one hour, at the starting price displayed. All bids are anonymous,” explains Maëlys de Lummen.

The development of Enchères Immo

Louis du Clary: “The aim ofimmo auctions is to bring buyers and sellers together through interactive sales. Through this system, more than 3500 sales have already been made since 4 years.”

“With our platform, the aim is to highlight a property at an attractive price to boost marketing, optimize the visibility of the property and enable potential buyers to find out more about the file, visit etc.” emphasizes Louis du Clary.

“We work with around 500 real estate agencies, 300 agents. They can distribute the solution and offer sellers this interactive system to optimize the marketing of their properties. But on immo auctionsThere’s also the possibility for a private seller to contact us directly to qualify and validate the project.

Maëlys de Lummen: “We’re convinced that real estate auctions have a bright future ahead of them. Because, in a somewhat frozen market, it allows sellers and buyers to meet at the right price, the fair price, the market price.”
