Quevilly-Rouen14th-placed Quevilly-Rouen eliminated Ligue 2 leaders Paris FC 4-2 on penalties (1-1 at the end of normal time) in the 7th round of the Coupe de France on Friday. At their Charléty stadium, PFC, recently bought out by the Arnault family, were taken by surprise at the quarter-hour mark by a fine strike from Belkacem Dali-Amar (17th). But the Parisians recovered 12 minutes later with a volley from striker Nouha Dicko (29th).
The penalty shoot-out proved fatal for PFC, who missed their first shot before seeing the keeper save the second. Leopards defender and captain Yanis Dede Lhomme put his team ahead with a panenka. It was a poor evening for other Ligue 2 clubs: Les Herbiers (N2) qualified (2-1) against Ajaccio, while Angoulême (N2) eliminated Rodez.
