The brand unveils two watches inspired by nature, reserved for Europe. Pure examples of Japanese design and craftsmanship.

Everything happens in a fraction of a second. Suddenly, a wave forms, adding a new dimension to the flat surface of water. A poetic moment now captured by the new SBGY040 watch from Grand Seikowith a deep blue dial inspired by Chisen Teien, the Japanese pond garden.

Knowing how to contemplate nature and seize the moment is part of the sense of harmony prized by the culture of the Land of the Rising Sun. A soul that is never absent from Grand Seiko’s watchmaking creations. The Japanese manufacturer has made its naturalist-inspired dials one of its hallmarks, no doubt as much as its mirror-like finishes obtained using the envied Zaratsu technique. But these rare pieces, mostly available in Japan, sometimes escape the notice of European enthusiasts and collectors.
