Chris Martin temporarily interrupted his Sydney concert to move a little boy who appeared to be in trouble in the pit.
For a moment, the show came to a halt. This Wednesday, November 6, in the middle of Coldplay’s concert at Sydneyin Australia, artist Chris Martin intervened to allow a child to change places to avoid being crushed by other spectators in the pit, closest to the stage. “You can sit there, you’ll be less crushed”the 47-year-old singer said to the boy. “Settle down there, kid. Are you feeling better?”he continued, crouching down on the stage to get within reach, and smiling at the child.
Fans applauded his gesture
Once reassured by the fate of his young fan, the singer returned to the center of the stage to resume the show. The audience, for their part, showed their gratitude for the artist’s attention by shouting and applauding.
The group Coldplay is on world tour until September 2025. The band will end their series of concerts in Australia on November 16. On Sunday, November 3, Chris Martin caused a stir among his fans when he fell into a trapdoor on stage during a concert in Melbourne. He was eventually caught by a technician. “That was, uh, not planned. Thank you so much for catching me. Thanks guys.”he reacted. More fear than harm.
