Conrad Colman is the first Vendée Globe sailor to experience a technical problem. The skipper of MS Amlin, one of the smallest budgets in the 2024-2025 edition, was unable to cross the start line like the 39 other sailors. He quickly lowered his boat and got a member of his crew on board, before sorting out his problem (a propeller tip). After a good hour’s neutralization, he was able to cross the start line in last place.
