Tempers flared between Paris sporting director Luis Campos and several Lens players, notably Florian Sotoca, at half-time of the PSG-Lens match on Saturday.
It was hot! Parisians and Lens players returned to their respective dressing rooms at half-time of the match between the two teams (PSG win 1-0) at the Parc des Princes, this Saturday, during the Ligue 1 matchday 10. So far, nothing surprising or special. Except that the tone has been raised. Loudly. A priori unhappy with certain refereeing decisions, Luis Campos began by shouting. “Shut up! Shut up!said the PSG sporting director in the corridor. Florian Sotoca was not the target of his remarks, but he nonetheless retorted: “Hey, why are you shouting like that? Why is he shouting like that?”. And the Lens striker – also out with an injury – adding, addressing an official: “Can we talk to our players like that?”.
The captain of the Sang et Or, Brice Samba, also brilliant on the pitchgot involved, trying to ease tensions. He addressed Campos: “You’re the president (sporting director in fact, editor’s note), set an example! You don’t have to say ‘shut up'”.. Luis Campos denied having said these words. “Yes, you said that, you don’t have to say that! Who do you think you are?”Sotoca replied. Palpable tension. Incidents to relive with images from beIN SPORTS.

Khusanov sent off
Note that Paris Saint-Germain finally beat Lens 1-0. The win moved Luis Enrique’s side six points clear at the top of the table. standingsThey were the beneficiaries of Abdukodir Khusanov’s second-half red card. A red card that owes nothing to the anger of Luis Campos or to the pressure put on the referees on this occasion: the Uzbek had a good heart on the ankle of Paris defender Achraf Hakimi… He did not steal his expulsion. It remains to be seen whether the Disciplinary Committee will find anything to complain about after the half-time incidents…
